Locate Dublin midway on Ireland's east coast and then follow the coastline south to the coastal towns of Wicklow and Arklow. The European Club is midway between these two towns and adjoins and runs up onto the southerly slopes of Mizen Head.
There is now a superb motorway down the east coast of Ireland from Belfast to The European Club. It bypasses Dublin city on the inland side and there are NO TRAFFIC LIGHTS!
This is one of the most significant GOLF MOTORWAYS in the world as it gets players rapidly between four of the World's Top-100 Golf Courses……. The European Club, Portmarnock, Royal County Down and Royal Portrush.
As if that were not enough add in the fine links at The Royal Dublin, The Island and County Louth (aka Baltray) and the renowned parkland courses at Druids Glen, The K-Club, Powerscourt and Carton House and you have the makings of a great golf holiday on some of the world's great golf courses combined with the cultural and social life of the ancient city of Dublin.

Take the M50 south. It will eventually turn into the M11 and keep following this motorway south past Wicklow… following the sign to WEXFORD ….. until you get to Junction 19; turn off the motorway there and at the roundabout follow the signs towards Brittas Bay. At the T-junction at the beach turn right and proceed 1.5-miles to the links. Allow 90-minutes except at city morning and evening business rush hours.
From Dublin city centre:
Locate the N11 which begins in the suburb of Donnybrook and runs south past the town of Bray. Follow the N11 (which becomes the M11) following the signs for WEXFORD until you see Junction 19 ; turn left there off the motorway and at the roundabout follow signs towards Brittas Bay. At the T-junction at the beach turn right and proceed 1.5-miles to the links.
